MEJC Movement School

There is a strong need for more BIPOC, working class, and directly impacted representation in environmental justice spaces. In 2021, MEJC employees set out to gather organizers from a plethora of movements to build out the Michigan Alliance for Justice in Climate (MAJIC) to fill that very need. We need new leaders to expand the capacity of our movements by fighting through a justice and equity lens. The MEJC Movement School is committed to guiding new champions of our struggle by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure that the power and will of the people thrives! MEJC Movement School works in collaboration with the MEJC Clean Air Youth Council and the Michigan Alliance for Justice in Climate (MAJIC).
