MEJC هي منظمة العدالة البيئية الوحيدة على مستوى الولاية ، التي يقودها الأعضاء في ميشيغان والغرب الأوسط. يتكون تحالفنا من قادة مجتمع EJ ومحامين وأكاديميين وعلماء في مجال الصحة العامة يمثلون الأفراد والمنظمات في جميع أنحاء ميشيغان. نحن على استعداد لمواصلة نمونا لمحاربة الأنظمة المتقاطعة التي تلوث هواءنا وتقمع أصواتنا وتهدد مستقبلنا. تعمل منظمتنا في إطار فهم أن الأسباب الجذرية لتغير المناخ هي العنصرية والرأسمالية والنظام الأبوي المغاير مع تأثير هذه الأنظمة القمعية على BIPOC والمجتمعات ذات الدخل المنخفض. المساءلة أمام قاعدتنا وشركائنا وأعضائنا أمر بالغ الأهمية بالنسبة لنا. بينما نقوم بتوسيع عضويتنا ، نأمل في جذب المزيد والمزيد من الأشخاص إلى الحركة من أجل العدالة البيئية.

Our organization operates within an understanding that the root causes of climate change are racism, capitalism, and the hetero-patriarchy with the impact of these oppressive systems falling on BIPOC and low-income communities. Accountability to our base, our partners, and members is extremely important to us. As we expand our membership, we hope to bring in more organizations to the movement for environmental justice.
