
Brishaun Maxwell
Energy Justice Policy Fellow
Brishaun Maxwell, MSW, (She/Her) is a policy advocate with over a decade of experience advancing justice through program design, policy advocacy, and community engagement. She has dedicated her career to developing systems that address social and economic inequities affecting Black and marginalized communities. Brishaun is now ready to bring the fight for quality of life to the Environmental Justice space.
Brishaun holds a Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Social Policy and Economic Inequality from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s in Family Relations from Illinois State University. When she is not fighting for justice she is loving on her four daughters and husband, serving in her church, and meeting the spiritual needs of Black christian women.
