Anne Marie Hertl (she/her) joins the MEJC team leveraging a decade of non-profit experience working as an organizer and regional activist to support social justice movement building throughout the environmental sector in Michigan.
Katrina (they/she) is responsible for developing communication strategies that advance the goals of MEJC and amplify messaging surrounding climate, racial, and economic justice.
As the daughter of Palestinian immigrants, Dana (she/her) believes that her freedom and liberation is tied to all those who are oppressed under systems of racism and exploitation.
Kyle Whyte (he/him) is an environmental justice organizer, educator, and researcher, currently serving as the George Willis Pack Professor at the University of Michigan, where he teaches in the environmental justice graduate program.
Ahmina (she/her) is committed to ensuring that grassroots leadership and expertise are valued and strengthened as we work for transformative and systemic change.
Pavan (he/him) comes to MEJC after almost a decade in nonprofit and government spaces, particularly focused around immigration, education and environmental advocacy.
